Some of the skills that children possess are valuable to the extent that they can be monetized even at a young age. This can help the children understand the value of being good at something while at the same time encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship.
To make this possible, we launched a marketplace called Mara. The app is available on the web here.
Getting Started is as easy as:
- Schools create an account
- Students sign up and apply to join their school
- Once approved by their admin, the students can start creating products.
Note
- At the moment we support the addition of both the physical and digital products by both the schools and the students. Licenses can be added to the digital goods if existent by the user. We are working on protecting the original creations, and therefore we would be working on more related updates going forward.
- To protect the children, we actively ensure that products posted are reviewed by our team before being made public.
- Schools can also create their own products and sell them.
- Delivery will be managed by our team.
- If a school does not exist and its student has created a profile, the student can make a request to have their school join by filling the form. Our team would then do the follow-up and help their school join Mara.
- Payouts are done on a monthly basis to all users.
- Digital products can be downloaded by each user a maximum of 3 times. This is the standard rate, but it might change if a special request by the seller exists.
We invite schools to check out Mara, and register so that their students can be encouraged to innovate; while handing them some returns that would prepare them to be self-sufficient in the future.
Students who join our training programs at SDVEN will be able to join us here. The payouts apply at the standard rate.
